I will be presenting a workshop at the Jazzschool in Berkeley, Ca on popular drum loops that have been sampled throughout hip hop and electronic dance music, and how to incorporate them into your live drumming.

Friday April 11, Knew will be returning to Cafe Royale for an evening of music and drinks. We got the normal cast of people; Tristan on Guitar, Danny on bass, Maddison on the Sax, Jake on the keys, and myself on the skins. The Bay Area's up and coming organ trio is back at Giordano Bro's in North Beach for their monthly residency. Come grab a sandwich, a beer, and some good vibes as this talented young trio fills the air with music that both pushes the boundaries of modern music whilst still paying tribute to the tradition of jazz. Featuring top young players in the bay area such as: Tristan Norton on guitar, Kevin Coleman (drums), and Parker Grant (Organ).
Were back at Giordano Brothers Friday February 27th. This is the newest, hippest organ trio in the bay area right now. Playing a repertoire of jazz and funk standards, mixed in with some more introspective modern compositions. Come down to grab a sandwich and a beer and enjoy some killer music.
Were back again at the Royale for our monthly residency, and this one is going to be better than ever. We will be presenting some brand new tunes that have never been played at the Royale! The band will be featuring: Tristan Norton on the Guitar, Danny Gerz on the bass, Madison Borher on the sax, myself on drums, and special guest Jake Barret on piano.
